Background and approach
Anthony is a warm and thoughtful clinical psychologist who works with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, stress, and low mood. He aims to create a space where people feel comfortable slowing down, making sense of what they're experiencing, and moving towards meaningful change.
His work is grounded in evidence-based therapies and tailored to the needs of each person. Anthony draws primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while integrating approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) when helpful.

Anthony has a particular interest in the treatment of burnout and anxiety disorders. His doctoral research examined how the emotional demands of work contribute to burnout, and he continues to support people working in demanding professions, including healthcare workers, first responders, educators, and other high-pressure occupations.

Outside the clinic, Anthony works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Black Dog Institute, where he contributes to research focused on mental health and wellbeing. His work within the Centre of Research Excellence in Depression Treatment Precision focuses on understanding anhedonia and low mood, as well as the safe and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in mental health care.
